Dawn Herbert Singing Teacher and Soprano
I have over 20 years of performing experience, having begun as a girl chorister at Peterborough Cathedral where I sang from ages 11 to 18. At The University of Nottingham I was a Choral Scholar at St Mary’s in the Lace Market, and since leaving have joined several ensembles.
My former choirs include the Joyful Company of Singers (with whom I performed and recorded for over 10 years), and Commotio (Oxford's leading performers of contemporary choral music). Occasionally I also have the opportunity to sing for Nigel Short in a semi-professional fundraising choir called Vox Coelestis.
I perform and record regularly as a soloist in the Stamford and Peterborough area, and am available for concerts and services such as weddings and funerals.
